Rome Map

Story:
I made this map as a wedding gift for my girlfriend's uncle! He and his wife got engaged in Rome at the Trevi fountain, so we wanted to make a map that would highlight the historic landmarks of the city. The map shows all of Rome's buildings and features the points of interests. I included water (Tiber river and fountains throughout the city) and green spaces to further enable navigation without text. My hope is that any viewer familiar with the city can use this minimalist map to trace back through their memories as they identify geographic locations and historic features.

Size:
Prints available in 12x12, 16x16, 20x20, and 24x24--size includes a .5" white border.

Note on the Process:
This is a digitally made GIS-map using data from OpenStreetMap. Each map is locally printed using archival toner ink on 120lb paper with a matte finish. The 16x16, 20x20, and 24x24 sizes are printed on 10 mil ultra-smooth matte poster paper, which produces a brighter color and smoother texture.

Shipping:
I hand-check each map for flaws and will personally package and ship with shipping insurance within 1 week of ordering (please allow additional time for custom color scheme requests).
